WRI and Faculty of Agriculture Unud Collaboration Result in Launch and Dissemination of Research Results of the Digital Solutions Project to Strengthen Rice Supply Chain Governance in Bali
Denpasar - The "Launch and Dissemination of Research Results of the Digital Solutions Project to Strengthen Rice Supply Chain Governance in Bali Province" was successfully held at the Aston Denpasar Hotel & Convention Center in Denpasar, Bali, on November 11, 2025. This activity was a collaborative effort between the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, the World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia, and CSIRO Data 61, with funding support from KONEKSI and DFAT Australia.
The launched digital solutions project resulted in the Sapatani digital platform and additional features for the SiGapura platform. These platforms are expected to strengthen rice supply chain governance in Bali Province to support Bali's Net Zero Emissions vision by 2045 and the Kerthi Bali Economic Transformation agenda, particularly within the Productive Bali and Smart Bali Island pillars through digital innovation.
The event was attended by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs of Udayana University Prof. Dr. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, S.P., M.Agr, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture of Udayana University I Putu Sudiarta, S.P., M.Sc., Ph.D., Director of Food, Land, and Water of WRI Indonesia Tomi Haryadi, Head of Stakeholder Management KONEKSI Dr. Paskal Kleden, and Mr. Dimas Suryo from the Directorate of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Ministry of National Development Planning (PPN)/BappenasBappenas. This event also invited Academics and Researchers from Udayana University, Researchers from WRI Indonesia, Researchers from CSIRO and various stakeholders from the government, research institutions, community organizations, and farmers.
