The Provincial Conference of the Indonesian Landscape Architects Association (IALI) for the Bali Region was held at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University

Denpasar - The Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, proudly hosted the 2025 Provincial Conference (Musprov) of the Indonesian Landscape Architects Association (IALI) Bali Region. This important event was successfully held on the 2nd floor of the Agrokomplek Building, in the Senate Meeting Room of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, Denpasar, on Thursday (July 10, 2025). The 2025 IALI Bali Musprov is a strategic forum for landscape architecture professionals in Bali to discuss the developments, challenges, and future directions of their profession. The presence of various stakeholders demonstrated a strong shared commitment to advancing environmental quality and spatial planning in Bali.


The event was officially opened by Dr. Putu Udayani Wijayanti, S.P., M.Agb., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. Udayani emphasized the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and professional organizations in producing quality graduates who contribute significantly to regional development. "We warmly welcome IALI Bali's trust in selecting the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, as the location for this Musprov. This is a clear demonstration of the strong synergy between academics and practitioners," he said.


IALI's central level demonstrated its full support for this Musprov event, as evidenced by the presence of Dian Heri Sofian, S.T., M.T., a representative from IALI National. Also in attendance were representatives from various related professional organizations, such as the Indonesian Interior Design Association (IDII) Bali and the Association of Urban and Regional Planning Experts (IATPI). Their presence emphasized that landscape planning and design are integral parts of sustainable urban development. The Musprov was attended not only by professionals but also by government representatives from the Denpasar City Environmental Agency and the Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (PUPR). This indicates that the issues discussed at this Musprov are directly relevant to regional development policies and programs. Representatives from the West Bali National Park Office (BTID Bali) were also present, strengthening collaboration in environmental and biodiversity conservation. Support from sponsors and colleagues also enlivened the event, demonstrating the commitment of various parties to the development of landscape architecture in Bali.


The 2025 IALI Bali Regional Conference (Musprov) appointed Ir. I Made Agus Dharmadiatmika, S.P., M.T., a lecturer in the Landscape Architecture Undergraduate Program at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, as the Chairperson for the 2025-2028 period. The newly formed board is expected to bring fresh impetus to the development of the landscape architecture profession in Bali and generate innovative recommendations and work programs to support sustainable development on the Island of the Gods.
