Public Lecture on Sustainable Agriculture in Era 4.0 which has an Impact on Indonesian Farmers and Communities at Faperta Unsrat

MANADO – Sustainable agriculture in the 4.0 era which has an impact on Indonesian farmers and society was the topic of a public lecture featuring resource persons from Udaya University (Unud), Bali, Wednesday (13/9/2023) at Unsrat, Manado.

The two guest speakers who attended were the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture as well as the Acting Chair of the Unud Sustainable Development and Finance Masters Study Program, Prof Dr Ir I Nyoman Gede Ustriana, MM and Prof Dr Ir I Wayan Budiasa, SP, MP, IPU, ASEAN Eng who is the Acting Post Director Unud Bachelor.

Before presenting the material from the two professors at state universities in Bali, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Unsrat Ir Dedie Tooy Msi, Phd, was pleased to give an opening sentence and welcome the speakers and participants.

Prof Dr Ir I Nyoman Gede Ustriana, MM raised material related to 'Latest Issues and Technology in the Field of Agroecotechnology'. Meanwhile, Budiasa raised the topic of Sustainable Agriculture in Era 4.0.

With the conclusion of the Head of the Egrotechnology Laboratory at Faperta Unsrat Dr Ir Sandra Pakasi Msi who is also the Chair of the Indonesian Agrotechnology Association (PAGI) and moderator Dr Adeleyda Lumingkewas, SP, Msi, lecturer at Faperta Unsrat.

This activity was carried out by the Agrotechnology Study Program led by Dr Ir Sofia Wantasen Msi through a work team chaired by Ir James Kaligis Msi. The activity, which was attended by all Faperta lecturers and students, was also carried out online from the Faperta hall, Unsrat.
