Mandala 2022: As a Place for Student Creativity and a Means of Introducing the Landscape Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University to the General Public

The Mandala 2022 activity is a new work program from the Landscape Architecture Student Association of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. With the aim of introducing the landscape architecture study program to the general public as well as a forum for students and students to be able to express their creativity through the activities included in the 2022 Mandala series. This activity took place for 4 consecutive days starting from Saturday, November 19 to Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Kulidan Kitchen & Space, Sukawati, Gianyar. The Mandala 2022 activity involves almost the entire academic community of the Landscape Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. Such as the Dean, study program coordinators, lecturers, students, and alumni.

On the first day, there was an opening ceremony for the Mandala 2022 activities which was inaugurated by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture UNUD - Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gede Ustriyana, M.M, and was attended by invitees from the Faculty of Agriculture and invitations to sponsor the Mandala 2022 activity. It was continued on to the next agenda on the same day, namely the opening of the exhibition which will last for 4 days. On the first day, a National level Webinar was also held which was attended online and offline by participants from various regions in Indonesia. The webinar discussed bamboo architecture - I Nyoman Gede Maha Putra, S.T., M.Sc., PhD. And topics related to the development of IKN – Rahman Andra Wijaya.

 On the 2nd day of the Mandala 2022 activity, a Mural competition was held which was attended by 5 teams (each team consisted of 2 people), with competent judges from the Mushroom Community - Genetics, and from UNUD landscape architecture lecturer - Lury Sevita Yusiana, S.p. , M.Sc. Then on the same day there was also a presentation of the work of the top 5 photography competitions with the theme of landscapes with local cultural wisdom in Bali.

On the 3rd day of the Mandala 2022 implementation, the presentation of the top 5 works and open judging of the 2022 Mandala Design Contest were carried out. The activity was carried out online via the Cisco Webex Meeting with participants from all over Indonesia.

Then on the 4th day an Awarding Day was held which was the closing day of the Mandala 2022 series of activities. Winners were announced and prizes were awarded to the winners of the Mandala 2022 mural, photography and design competition participants. The closing of the activity was carried out by the Deputy Dean III for Student Affairs - I Wayan Diara, M.S. as well as enlivened by several acoustic entertainment events that appeared namely ARL Music Talent Interests, The Kraengtua Akustik, and UNUD Music Arts UKM.
