International Seminar Cooperation between Faculty of Agriculture Udayana University and Russia-ASEAN: Sustainable Technology Improvement in Agriculture and Animal Husbandry
Held in the Senate Meeting Room of the Faculty of Agriculture, Agrocomplex Building, 2nd Floor, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, on Thursday, April 23, 2026, the Faculty of Agriculture at Udayana University organized an International Seminar in collaboration with Russia–ASEAN.
The seminar was officially opened by the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. Widhianthini, S.P., M.Si., under the theme “Sustainable Technology Improvement in Agriculture and Animal Husbandry.”
The keynote speakers for the seminar were Prof. Dr. Ir. I Ketut Suada, M.P., Dr. Nataliya Shchegolkova, and Uliana Karpovich. Prof. Suada stated that the seminar marked the 13th anniversary of the collaborative partnership between Udayana University, Russia, and ASEAN. In his presentation, he discussed the “Zero-Waste Lignohumate Technology Transfer Scheme.”
Dr. Nataliya Shchegolkova emphasized the importance of stability and development in the agricultural sector, which serves as the foundation of a nation’s social structure. She explained that achieving stability in agriculture requires careful attention to high-quality animal feed, as it plays a crucial role in enabling intensive agricultural development.
Meanwhile, Uliana Karpovich highlighted issues related to animal feed and shared practical experiences from Russia in developing production systems in remote areas.
The seminar was attended by lecturers and students from the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Animal Husbandry at Udayana University.
