High enthusiasm from hundreds of participants in the International Scientific Publication Workshop, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University

The Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University held an International Scientific Publication Workshop which was held for two days, namely on 14 – 15 November 2023. This workshop was held in the Postgraduate Hall of Udayana University, Jl. PB Sudirman, Denpasar. This event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, Deputy Dean I and Deputy Dean II of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, Study Program Coordinator at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, resource person Prof. Dr. Ir. Damayanti Buchori, M.Sc., Prof. Dr. Ir. Mujiyo, S.P., M.P., Ir. Joko Mariyono, M.P., Ph.D., as well as 150 participants consisting of lecturers and students at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. On this occasion, the resource person was Prof. Dr. Ir. Damayanti Buchori, M.Sc. presenting material regarding the Systematics of Writing Good Scientific Articles, Prof. Dr. Ir. Mujiyo, S.P., M.P. presented material on How to Choose a Reputable International Journal, and Ir. Joko Mariyono, M.P., Ph.D.

In his report, I Gede Bagus Dera Setiawan, SP., M.Agb., as chairman of the committee expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University for facilitating the holding of this workshop, the resource persons who were willing to attend, as well as to the participants who attended the event. workshop this time. He said that the aim of holding this workshop was to increase motivation, open up and increase insight and ability to write scientific articles which will later be published at a higher level, namely the international level. He also hopes that in the future there will be improvements, especially in terms of the quality and quantity of reputable international scientific publications at the Faculty of Agriculture.

Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, SP., M.Agr. In his speech and opening the event, he said that publication in international journals provides important benefits as a tool for building the reputation of individual lecturers and students as well as the institutions where they serve and study. He also said that through international publications, lecturers and students as researchers can build international networks. He hopes that through this workshop many scientific articles will be produced that are ready to be published in reputable international journals.
