FP Unud Collaboration Plan with Agree (Telkom Indonesia) on the Student Assistance Program for Farmers

Denpasar. Rizki Marcelino Project Manager from Agree, part of Telkom Indonesia, which operates and contributes to the digitalization of Indonesian agriculture, was pleased to explain the cooperation plan with the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University (FP Unud) at the Senate Meeting Room of FP Unud, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Thursday (16/11 /2023). The planned activities can involve assisting farmers in food distribution, especially rice in Bali.


The presentation was attended by the Leadership of FP Unud and Koprodi within FP Unud listening and discussing the scope of activities that would be carried out jointly between Agree (Telkom Indonesia) and FP Unud. Dean of FP Unud Dr. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya expressed his high appreciation for future cooperation plans that could involve students. Student involvement also does not rule out the possibility in the MBKM scheme. On this occasion, the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Dr. I Made Sukewijaya stated that readiness for assistance can be carried out if the cooperation is properly implemented considering that FP Unud already has experience in assisting agricultural activities in the field.


Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning I Putu Sudiarta, PhD. explained that academic and other learning fields could also be collaborated in the future considering that FP Unud has an installation in the form of an experimental garden which requires the field of information technology as well as filling in learning activities. At the end of the presentation event, Alit Susanta expressed his hope that this form of mutually beneficial cooperation could run well and would certainly benefit both parties. Follow-up meetings will be held so that what is planned also requires a working mechanism between various stakeholders in order to achieve the expected goals. (ims)
