Faculty of Agriculture Udayana University Strengthens Preparations for FKPTPI 2026 Through Committee Meeting

Denpasar, April 17, 2026 — The Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, continues to intensify preparations for the 2026 Forum Komunikasi Perguruan Tinggi Pertanian Indonesia (FKPTPI) through a committee meeting held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Senate Meeting Room of the Faculty of Agriculture. The meeting, which took place from 14:00 to 16:00 WITA, was led by the Chair of the Committee and attended by all organizing members.


During the meeting, it was agreed that FKPTPI 2026 will carry the theme “Integration of Agriculture and Tourism to Support the SDGs.” The main activities will be held at The Patra Bali Resort, featuring a series of events including a national seminar, workshop, student competitions, and community service programs.


The national seminar will involve speakers from various sectors, including industry practitioners, government representatives such as the Indonesian Quarantine Agency, and academics from Udayana University. The Governor of Bali is also planned to deliver a keynote address.


The workshop is scheduled to take place on July 23, 2026, as a full-day event culminating in a gala dinner. Participants will be provided with comprehensive facilities, including full board packages, flexible meeting rooms accommodating up to seven spaces, and standard seminar and workshop equipment. Regarding participation, registration fees have been set according to participant categories, such as deans, vice deans, heads of study programs, and presenters. Participants will receive an official FKPTPI long-sleeve polo shirt, while batik attire will be available at an additional cost.


To encourage student engagement, FKPTPI 2026 will also host a variety of competitions, including Scientific Writing (LKTI), essay contests, Business Plan Competition (BPC), photography, videography, and poster design. All technical aspects of the competitions will be managed by the student committee, who will receive an official appointment decree (SK) for their involvement. In addition to academic activities, FKPTPI 2026 will include a community service program scheduled for July 24, 2026, in Penglipuran Tourism Village, followed by a visit to the Kintamani area. This initiative aims to strengthen collaboration between academia and local communities in promoting agriculture-based tourism development.


As a follow-up, the committee has set several key deadlines, including the preparation of Terms of Reference (TOR) and Budget Plans (RAB) by each division, as well as the completion of the event leaflet draft by the end of April 2026, prior to its official release in early May. Through this meeting, the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, demonstrates its strong commitment to organizing FKPTPI 2026 in a professional and high-quality manner, while fostering collaboration among higher education institutions, industry, and government to support sustainable agricultural development in Indonesia.
