Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University Holds Graduation Farewell for 166 Prospective Graduates in August 2026
Denpasar – The Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University (FP Unud), held a graduation farewell ceremony for the August 2026 graduation period, marking an important milestone for 166 prospective graduates from undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs. The ceremony took place at the Nusantara Room Sudirman College.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, I Putu Sudiarta, S.P., M.Si., Ph.D., the Vice Deans, coordinators of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral study programs, administrative staff, and the prospective graduates. The ceremony began with the singing of the Indonesian national anthem, Indonesia Raya, followed by the Udayana Hymn, a joint prayer, the reading of the graduation decree, the announcement of outstanding graduates, congratulatory remarks, messages and impressions from graduate representatives, and an address by the Dean.
166 Graduates from Various Academic Programs
In the August 2026 graduation period, the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, released prospective graduates from eight study programs across undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels.
The graduates comprised 1 graduate from the Doctoral Program in Agricultural Sciences, 3 from the Master’s Program in Agricultural Biotechnology, 9 from the Master’s Program in Agribusiness, 11 from the Master’s Program in Dryland Agriculture, 6 from the Master’s Program in Agroecotechnology, 22 from the Bachelor’s Program in Landscape Architecture, 44 from the Bachelor’s Program in Agroecotechnology, and 70 from the Bachelor’s Program in Agribusiness.
One of the highlights of the ceremony was the presentation of awards to the best graduates of the August 2026 period. Three prospective graduates received recognition for outstanding academic achievement at their respective academic levels.
At the undergraduate level, the award was presented to Ni Made Eni Kencana Indra Suteja, S.P. from the Bachelor’s Program in Agroecotechnology, who achieved a GPA of 3.98 with the distinction of With Honors. At the master’s level, Putu Sintayani Buana, S.P., M.P. from the Master’s Program in Dryland Agriculture received the award with a GPA of 4.00 and the distinction of With Honors. Meanwhile, at the doctoral level, Dr. Anak Agung Istri Sri Wiadnyani, S.TP., M.Sc. from the Doctoral Program in Agricultural Sciences was recognized with a GPA of 4.00 and the distinction of With Honors.
The certificates of appreciation were presented directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture. The Dean, accompanied by the coordinators of the respective study programs, then congratulated the prospective graduates from each program.
The graduation farewell ceremony was more than a formal event before commencement. It also served as an opportunity for the Faculty of Agriculture to recognize the academic journeys, dedication, and achievements of its students throughout their years of study.
Toward the end of the ceremony, a representative of the prospective graduates delivered a message and shared impressions of their academic journey. This was followed by remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture. All participants then sang the Faculty of Agriculture March before the event concluded with a group photo session involving the faculty leadership and prospective graduates.
The August 2026 graduation farewell ceremony marked the completion of an important chapter in the graduates’ academic journey while also opening a new chapter in their professional and personal lives.
The Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, hopes that its graduates will continue to uphold the good name of their alma mater, apply their knowledge professionally, and make meaningful contributions to society and the advancement of sustainable agriculture.
