AgroEco Foresight is carried out in the context of Collaboration between the Faculty of Agriculture and AgroEcoUniversum

Denpasar - AgroEco Foresight was carried out in the framework of the Collaboration between the Faculty of Agriculture and AgroEcoUniversum. GAME activities were carried out, namely an online discussion on 25 November 2022 in the Senate Meeting Room of the Faculty of Agriculture, Agrocomplex Building, Second Floor, Denpasar Campus, Udayana University. This game aims to hone scientifically the competence of students. There were 2 teams participating in this game, namely the team from Udayana University, Bali, Indonesia and SKU Savannakhet University, Laos, Vietnam. The Udayana University team managed to excel and win the game.


This New Educational Game is hosted by Prof. Pavel Kargashin from Moscow State University, MSU Moscow by giving questions to the Savannakhet University SKU team first via Zoom Meeting, then proceed to the Udayana University Team. Prof. I Ketut Suada became the executor of activities from Udayana University, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thi Ha from VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) as a judge. The Savannakhet University Team consists of 5 students and the Udayana University Team consists of Undergraduate Agroecotechnology, Masters in Agroecotechnology, Masters in MPLK, and Masters in Biotechnology. There are questions that make up the following game:

Situation: There is an existing pig farm. There was happened hard rain. Nearby there is another farm 5 kilometers downstream. The velocity of the waterflow in the river is 0.5 meters per second. And it is raining now.

The problem: Manure from the storage was washed off by the flow because the wall of the storage was damaged. Mind that manure contains antibiotics, because they treat pigs.

Moreover, it is dangerous for people and livestock


This activity was carried out for 2 hours online and the result was that the Udayana University Team won the game because they made answers according to the situation and were able to answer student and jury questions more smoothly than students from LAOS.
