WORKSHOP ON SEMESTER LEARNING PLAN (RPS) REVIEW AND OBE IMPLEMENTATION AT THE FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE, UNIVERSITAS UDAYANA

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Udayana, once again conducted the Workshop on Semester Learning Plan (RPS) Review and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Implementation on Friday, 28 August 2026. This year’s workshop was conducted in a hybrid format, taking place at the Senate Meeting Room, Faculty of Agriculture, Agrokomplek Building 2nd Floor, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar.

The annual workshop was organized for all lecturers within the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Udayana, who participated both onsite and online. The event was attended by the Dean, Vice Deans, Heads of Study Programs, Professors, and lecturers of the Faculty of Agriculture. The workshop featured two distinguished speakers: Dr. Ir. Gede Sukadarmika, S.T., M.Sc., IPU., ASEAN Eng. and I Made Arsa Suyadnya, S.T., M.Eng.

In his opening remarks, the Dean emphasized the importance of strengthening the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) at the Faculty of Agriculture in the future. The curriculum plays a fundamental role in ensuring educational relevance, as it defines the graduate profiles, Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs), and the alignment of courses that support students’ competencies.

Furthermore, an OBE-based curriculum is one of the key aspects considered in international accreditation processes and has become one of the strategic goals of the Faculty of Agriculture. Therefore, all lecturers are encouraged to actively participate in this workshop to improve the quality of RPS development and to support the preparation for the re-accreditation process of the five study programs within the Faculty of Agriculture.
