Udayana University Faculty of Agriculture Student Creativity Program Competition in 2023

The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, is again holding a University-level Student Creativity Program Competition in 2023. This activity was held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 which took place in Lecture Room 1, Floor 3, BA Building, Faculty of Agriculture, Campus Bukit Jimbaran. The 2023 PKM competition has the theme "Igniting Students' Critical and Creative Thinking Spirit Through the PKM Competition to Carve Ambition Towards PIMNAS."

The 2023 PKM competition was attended by 9 participating teams which started by participating in the administrative selection stage, then continued to become finalists. The nine finalist teams have compiled PKM by pouring creative ideas from each team which were presented at the final on May 27 2023. From the PKM that has been collected, there are 6 PKM schemes compiled by all finalists, including PKM-K, PKM-PM, PKM-KI, PKM-VGK, PKM-GFT, and PKM-RSH.

The KPKM activity was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Deputy Dean 2 and Deputy Dean 3 of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, the Coordinator of the Landscape Architecture Study Program, as well as student organizations within the Faculty of Agriculture. The event began with an opening, namely a prayer, singing the Indonesian Raya and Mars Civitas songs of the Faculty of Agriculture, the report of the committee chairman by sister Ni Kadek Mira Cahyani, followed by remarks by BEM FP by brother I Wayan Dharma Wiguna, and finally continued with remarks by the dean of the Faculty of Agriculture as well as opening the event by Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Gede Ustriyana, MM., as the dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. The FP Dean hopes that through this activity the PKM work can pass to PIMNAS like a few years ago, where the FP contingent through Udayana University managed to qualify as champion at PIMNAS. In addition, appreciation was also given by the Dean of FP to all participants and committee who had prepared a series of events so that they could be carried out on the D-day.

After the opening was carried out, it was continued with the presentation of the 9 finalist teams which were assessed by 3 judges, namely Putu Udayani Wijayanti, S.P., M.Agb., Ida Ayu Listia Dewi, S.P., M.Agb., and Bima Kumara Dwi Atmaja, S.H., M.H. Assessment is carried out by assessing the aspect of the proposal and also the aspect of the presentation of the finalists. The presentation was carried out in a hybrid manner by the nine teams with a presentation time of 10 minutes followed by a 12 minute question and answer session. The entire team presented the PKM that had been prepared using powerpoint from the proposals that had been prepared.

Based on the results of the presentations and proposals that had been prepared by each team and were assessed by the jury, the 2023 PKM winners were won by the 3 teams with the highest accumulated scores. 1st place was won by lottery number 7 with the name of chairman I Made Andipa Yuda Mredangga with 4 of its members, with the type of PKM namely PKM-PM entitled "SASARUNG: Empowerment in Utilizing Coconut Waste to Become Environmentally Appropriate Goods and Increasing the Welfare of PKK Mothers in Gadungan Village, Tabanan” with a total of 1789 points. 2nd place was won by a team with lottery number 6 chaired by Audry Haniyah Destiana along with 4 other members, with the type of PKM namely PKM-VGK entitled “Tri Hita Karana Ecoriparian Design Concept on the Banks of the Ayung River as a Solution Tackling Water Pollution to Realize SDGs” with a total score of 1703. And 3rd place was won by a team with lottery number 8 chaired by Ricy Wahyu Romadhoni along with 4 other members, with the type of PKM namely PKM-K entitled “GOTASU” Feed Innovation Utilizing Waste Ceremony Through BSF (Black Soldier Fly) to Improve Dog Nutrition” with a value of 1638. The three teams that won the championships received prizes in the form of plaques, certificates and coaching money. Prizes and coaching money were handed over by the jury and deputy dean 2 of the Faculty of Agriculture. Bima Kumara Dwi Atmaja, S.H., M.H representing the jury in the closing statement said "In preparing the Student Creativity Program (PKM) it is very important to pay attention to the guidelines for each field of PKM, because it is the main book in making good and correct works. Creativity and innovation are also very much needed in this case, original works are also an important consideration in the effort to progress to become PIMNAS participants in the future.” After the closing statement, the event was continued with the closing of the KPKM by the Deputy Dean II of FP which was carried out symbolically by tapping the mic 3 times and a group photo process was carried out by the jury, invitees, participants, champions and committee.
