THREE MEDALS WON, FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE STUDENTS ACHIEVE ANOTHER OUTSTANDING ACCOMPLISHMENT

Three students from the Agroecotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, have once again achieved remarkable success in the “FAPERTA FAIR 9 (Futuristics and Prestige Research, Technology, and Art)” competition organized by Muhammadiyah University of Mataram in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The students — Brameldon Natan Mayaut, Caroline Nesia Bany, and Wulan Fibriantika — successfully won a Gold Medal in the Agriculture category, a Silver Medal in the Environmental category, and the Favorite Poster Award in the Agriculture category. They competed against approximately 150 participants from around 15 provinces across Indonesia.

FAPERTA FAIR 9 is a prestigious national essay competition organized by the Sentosa Foundation and the Faculty of Agriculture of Muhammadiyah University of Mataram. The event was held from May 9 to 11 in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This year’s competition carried the theme “The Steps of the Young Generation Towards a More Developed Indonesia,” featuring subthemes in Food, Agriculture, Tourism and Culture, Law and Politics, Social and Economy, Education, Environment, Health, and Technology. The competition aims to accommodate and encourage creative ideas from young generations in addressing Indonesia’s challenges across various sectors, including food security, technology, and economic development.

This achievement is a source of pride not only for the students but also for the Faculty of Agriculture of Udayana University. Hopefully, this accomplishment will not be the end of their journey, but instead become a motivation for other students to continue achieving excellence.
