Socialization of the Master's Program in Dry Land Agriculture (MPLK) Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University to the Department of Dry Land Agricultural Management, Kupang State Agricultural Polytechnic

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a decrease in the number of new students who continue their studies at the Master of Dry Land Agriculture (MPLK) Unud. The Coordinator of the MPLK Study Program (Dr. Ir. Ni Nyoman Ari Mayadewi, M.P.) accompanied by the Head of the Study Program Quality Assurance Implementation Team (Dr. Ir. Gede Wijana, M.S.) responded to this by holding an online Study Program Socialization. The targeted university is the Department of Dry Land Agricultural Management at the Kupang State Agricultural Polytechnic, because its alumni have great potential to continue their studies at MPLK. The event took place on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 16.00 – 18.20 WIB offline at the Senate Meeting Room of the Faculty of Agriculture, Agrokomplek Building, Unud Campus on Jl. Sudirman and online using Zoom.

The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Unud (Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gede Ustriyana, M.M.), followed by remarks from the Kupang State Agricultural Polytechnic represented by Wadir IV (Melinda Moata, S.P., M.Sc., Ph.D) . Also present at the socialization event were the Head of the Department of Dry Land Agricultural Management at the Kupang State Agricultural Polytechnic, representatives from Tribuana Alor University, the Alumni from the Department of Dry Land Agricultural Management at the Kupang State Agricultural Polytechnic who served in the South Central Timor Regional Government, the Kupang Regional Government, Rote and several prospective students. only MPLK in Bali. From MPLK Unud, in addition to KoProdi, the Chairperson of the MPLK Study Program TPPM, lecturer representatives (Prof. Dr. Ir I Nyoman Rai, M.S. and Prof. I Gusti Ngurah Santosa, M.S.) All participants amounted to more than 70 people. The MPLK KoProdi explained the existence of the Study Program, curriculum, learning process, supporting facilities, financing for studying at MPLK, as well as the requirements and procedures for new student registration. After the presentation, it was continued with a discussion interspersed with testimonials from MPLK alumni and several students who are still actively studying at MPLK. The socialization was closed by the MPLK KoProdi after the event lasted for 2 hours, with gratitude and hope that many alumni of the Kupang State Agricultural Polytechnic Dryland Agricultural Management Department would continue their studies to MPLK and cooperation between the two parties would continue.
