Scientific Seminar With the Title: Management of Nutrients and Water to Increase Dryland Productivity
The scientific seminar organized by the Dry Land Agriculture Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, UNUD, was carried out in a hybrid on July 29, 2022, offline manner at the Senate Meeting Room of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, Agrokomplek Building, Lt. 2 Sudirman Campus and online via the Webex link. The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University (Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gede Ustriana, M.M) who in his remarks greatly appreciated this scientific seminar for increasing knowledge resources.
The speakers at today's seminar are Dr. Ir. Amalia Tetrani Sakya, MP. M.Phil (UNS Lecturer, UNS Agronomy Study Program Cooperative) with the topic: Nutrient Utilization for Efficiency of Water Use in Drought Stress Conditions. The second resource person is Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gusti Ngurah Santosa, M.S., IPU., ASEAN Eng. (Professor of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University) with the topic: Strategies to Anticipate Water Stress on Dry Land to Increase Production. Meanwhile, the operator in this seminar is Mr. DR. Ir Gede Wijana, M.S., Beliu is a senior lecturer who is active in agriculture, especially hydroponics and he already has a garden which is named "Pak Wi's Garden".
The participants of the Scientific Seminar were 71 people, 52 people attended online and 19 people attended offline. Participants came from academics, bureaucrats and practitioners from Bali and outside Bali including: UPN Veterans Yogyakarta, Trunojoyo University, State Polytechnic, East Lombok Social Service, Agriculture Service of Buleleng Regency, Catholic University of Indonesia, Unika Santu Paulus Ruteng, University of Palangkaraya Kalimantan , NTT Agriculture Service, BMKG Region III, Bali AIAT, Warmadewa University, Panji Sakti, Mahasaraswati, Dwijendra, Entrepreneur in agriculture.
The event ended with the presentation of certificates to the speakers and moderators. The Scientific Seminar was closed by the Koprodi Master of Dry Land Agriculture (Dr. Ir. Ni Nyoman Ari Mayadewi, M.P.).
