Present External Resource Persons at the 2023 Research and Community Service Roadmap Workshop, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University

The Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University (FP Unud) held a Workshop on Preparing a Research and Community Service Roadmap at the Senate Meeting Room of FP Unud, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Thursday (23/11/2023). The workshop was attended by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, study program coordinators, laboratory heads, concentration heads, professors, lecturers in the Unud FP, internal resource persons, internal and external speakers from the Regional Innovation Research Agency ( BRIDA) Bali Province, Bali Province Agriculture and Food Security Service (Ditstangangan), Denpasar Quarantine Center, and Agricultural Practitioners from the Andalan Farmer-Fishermen Group (KTNA) Badung.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Ni Made Trigunasih, M.P. as chairman of the organizing committee said that the aim of holding the workshop was to obtain input in the context of preparing the 2023 FP Unud Research and Community Service Roadmap by highlighting local wisdom based on the direction of agricultural development both nationally and regionally. In his speech and opening the event, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning I Putu Sudiarta, S.P., M.Si., Ph.D. welcomed the holding of the workshop. In an effort to create a roadmap for research and community service, contributions and synergy from various parties involved are needed for the sake of Balinese agriculture in particular and the National in general, said Sudiarta.

Present as an internal resource person, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Rai, M.S. who explained the draft research roadmap and Prof. Dr. Ir. I Dewa Putu Oka Suardi, M.Si. explained the draft roadmap for community service at FP Unud guided by Dr. A.A. Ayu Wulandira Sawitri Djelantik, S.P., M.M.A. Meanwhile, the external resource person who attended as a speaker and provided useful input and views in preparing the roadmap was a resource person from BRIDA Bali, Ir. Nyoman Suarta, M.Si. discussing the Agricultural Sector of Bali's Economic Transformation, Distanpangan Bali drh. Ni Wajan Leestyawati Palgunadi, M.Sc. discussing the Direction of Agricultural Development in Bali, Denpasar Quarantine Center Putu Shinta Devi, S.P., M.P. discussing Quarantine Policy in the Agricultural Sector, and Agricultural Practitioners from the Chairman of KTNA Badung Ir. I Made Suparsa discussed the Need and Role of Research and Service in the Agricultural Sector for Practitioners.
