Faculty of Agriculture Udayana University Conducts OBE-Based RPS Review to Strengthen Learning Implementation

Denpasar, 31 August 2026 — The Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, conducted the Workshop on Review of Semester Learning Plans (RPS) and Implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) on Monday, 31 August 2026. The activity was held in a hybrid format, taking place at the Senate Meeting Room of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sudirman Campus, and attended by participants online through Zoom Meeting.

The workshop was conducted from 08.30 to 12.00 WITA. The series of activities began with participant registration, followed by the opening ceremony, the singing of the Indonesian national anthem Indonesia Raya, prayer, and a group photo session. The event was guided by Dr. Ni Made Intan Maulina, S.P., M.P. as the master of ceremonies.

The main agenda of the activity was the OBE-Based RPS Review Session, which was conducted for 75 minutes. The review involved the Teaching and Learning Quality Assurance Teams (TPPMP) from the Undergraduate Study Programs of Agroecotechnology, Agribusiness, and Landscape Architecture. The session was moderated by Dr. Ida Ayu Listia Dewi, S.P., M.Agb.

Through this review activity, the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) became an important component in strengthening the implementation of Outcome-Based Education. The discussion at the study program level was expected to ensure the alignment between learning planning, curriculum implementation, and the intended learning outcomes within the educational process.

Following the review session, the workshop continued with a 45-minute parallel discussion session, which was also moderated by Dr. Ida Ayu Listia Dewi, S.P., M.Agb. The discussion provided an opportunity for participants and study program teams to explore various aspects related to the preparation and refinement of RPS within the OBE framework. The activity continued with documentation, before being officially closed by the First Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture.

As a follow-up to the workshop, all study programs were assigned to develop OBE-based Graduate Learning Outcome (CPL) indicators during the period of 1–9 September 2026. This task will be carried out by the respective TPPMP teams of each study program.

The implementation of the Workshop on RPS Review and OBE Implementation represents the commitment of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, to strengthen a more structured, measurable, and competency-oriented learning planning system. Through the alignment of RPS and OBE-based CPL indicators, the learning process is expected to become increasingly relevant to student competency development needs and contribute to continuous improvement in the quality of higher education at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University.
