Faculty of Agriculture Holds Campus and Experimental Garden Cleanup in Celebration of 58th Anniversary
Badung–To commemorate the 58th anniversary of the Faculty of Agriculture (FP) and the 47th anniversary of the Faculty of Agriculture Family Council (BKFP), the Faculty of Agriculture held a Community Service (PkM) cleanup activity at two locations: the Faculty of Agriculture's Bukit Campus and the Faculty of Agriculture Experimental Garden (KPFP), on Wednesday (August 27, 2025). Approximately 200 participants, including Deans, Vice Deans, lecturers, and students, participated in this lively activity. Participants were divided into several groups, each tasked with cleaning the campus and garden, specifically collecting plastic waste as a form of environmental awareness.
The activity began with remarks from the Dean of FP, I Putu Sudiarta, S.P., M.Si., Ph.D., who stated that this cleanup was not merely a commemoration of the anniversary but also a tangible manifestation of the academic community's concern for cleanliness and environmental health, as well as a form of social contribution to the surrounding community. "Sudiarta hopes this activity will foster a sense of togetherness and ecological responsibility, while also serving as a concrete example for students about the importance of environmental action."
To further boost enthusiasm, the committee prepared prizes for the three groups that collected the most plastic waste at each location. The students' enthusiasm was evident in their eagerness to work together to clean up the environment while maintaining group cohesion.
With this spirit of togetherness, this activity not only succeeded in making the campus environment and experimental garden cleaner, but also strengthened the Faculty of Agriculture's commitment to supporting green and sustainable movements.
