On Monday, April 27, 2026, at the Dean’s Transit Room, 2nd Floor of the Agrocomplex Building, Sudirman Campus, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, received an audience from the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia Province of Bali.

The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, I Putu Sudiarta, S.P., M.Si., Ph.D., accompanied by the Vice Dean III, the Coordinator of the Information and Cooperation Management Unit, and Dr. Ir. I Gede Wijana, M.Si., welcomed the delegation from the Bank Indonesia Representative Office of Bali Province, represented by Mr. Fauzan and the team from the Agricultural MSME division.

The purpose of this meeting was to establish a more intensive collaboration in developing the regional economy through the agricultural sector, as well as the downstream processing of agricultural products. Bank Indonesia, as a financial institution, is committed to maintaining currency stability by controlling inflation. One of the strategies implemented by Bank Indonesia is ensuring food supply stability. Therefore, Bank Indonesia, particularly its Bali Provincial Office, has developed a “Fostered Village Program” across almost all regencies and cities in Bali Province.

To implement this program effectively, Bank Indonesia intends to collaborate with the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, as a strategic partner, ensuring that the mentoring program achieves its intended outcomes. Sudiarta warmly welcomed the collaboration initiative, as it aligns with several ongoing and established programs of the Faculty of Agriculture, including its own Fostered Village Program. He expressed hope that the cooperation will soon be realized through the signing of a formal cooperation agreement.
