Community Service and Field Trip Complement the 2026 FKPTPI Eastern Region Workshop
Badung, July 24, 2026 – The 2026 Eastern Region Workshop of the Indonesian Agricultural Higher Education Communication Forum (FKPTPI) continued with community service activities and a field trip on Friday, July 24, 2026.
The program began with a visit to Penglipuran Tourism Village. During the visit, participants took part in community service activities, presented research findings and innovations, explored the village, and joined a group documentation session.
The visit provided participants with direct insights into culture-based village management, the preservation of traditional spatial planning, environmental cleanliness, and community participation in sustainable tourism development.
The group then continued to Kintamani, where participants enjoyed lunch and the scenic views at AMORA Restaurant. The field trip proceeded to Krisna Oleh-Oleh Blangsinga, allowing participants to learn about the marketing of local products and the development of Bali’s creative economy.
The community service activities and field trip complemented the workshop program, which had previously featured a national seminar, plenary sessions, discussions, and exchanges of ideas on sustainable agriculture.
The activities reaffirmed the commitment of FKPTPI Eastern Region and the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, to strengthening collaboration among higher education institutions, local communities, tourism, cultural heritage, and sustainable development.
