Collaboration between the Faculty of Agriculture and Marga Village - Synergy for Community Independence

Tabanan-As a form of collaboration between universities and the community, the Faculty of Agriculture of Udayana University held a Community Service activity in Marga Village. As one of the villages supported by the Faculty of Agriculture, this year's routine activity took place on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Bale Subak Ole and the Marga Village Head's Office, Dajan Puri.


Featuring speakers from academics at the Faculty of Agriculture, the material presented covered everything from Landscape Design for Marga Tourism Village to Pest and Disease Control Technology and an Eco-Friendly Agribusiness Ecosystem. The Marga Village management and community also attended as participants, who were expected to gain new insights and knowledge regarding tourism village development as a form of independent village management.


Furthermore, the introduction of pest control technology was expected to increase farmers' knowledge and skills in preventing evolving pest attacks. Lastly, and no less importantly, the material on environmentally friendly agribusiness ecosystems is also expected to increase understanding of how to establish food sovereignty using natural materials that do not cause environmental pollution.
