Alexandra Matahari Larasati and Inten Rastyari as Outstanding Students of FP Unud 2025

Denpasar - The peak of the 2025 Outstanding Student Selection (Pilmapres) at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University took place on Saturday, April 19, 2025. The theme this year is still the same as in 2024, namely "Solving Development Problems Related to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) and the Industrial Revolution 4.0". The winners of the event were Alexandra Matahari Larasati (Agri 24) as the Champion for the Class of 2024 and Ni Kadek Inten Rastyari (Agro 23) as the Champion for the Class of 2023.


The series of 2025 Pilmapres began with an initial selection in the form of an administrative selection involving students from three Undergraduate Study Programs (Prodi) at FP Unud. At the beginning of the selection, six people were declared to have passed, namely Armadha Ridzki Syahada (Agribusiness 24), Amelia Susanti (Agroecotechnology 23), Ni Kadek Inten Rastyari (Agroecotechnology 23), Alexandra Matahari Larasati (Agribusiness 24), Nesya Catherine Puteri (Agribusiness 23), and Ahmad Faizal Ramadhani (Landscape Architecture 24). Unfortunately, one person from the Landscape Architecture Study Program withdrew and did not participate in the further selection.


To complete the readiness of prospective outstanding students in the FP Unud environment, mentoring for Scientific Papers (KTI) was also carried out. The activity which was held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, presented a KTI trainer from the 22nd batch of the Faculty of Medicine Undergraduate Study Program, Ni Putu Rista Pradnya Dewi.


The selection stages took place twice, namely the English interview stage and the peak stage of the selection event. The entire series of events took place at the Agrocomplex Building, PB Campus. Sudirman, Denpasar. The English interview event took place on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, with the presence of judges Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gde Pitana, M.Sc., Ir. Kadek Edi Saputra, S.T., M.Ars., and Dr. Ir. Anak Agung Istri Kesumadewi, M.Si. Meanwhile, the judges that the participants had to face at the peak event were Dr. I Kadek Wisma Yudha, S.P., M.P., Dr. Ni Luh Prima Kemala Dewi, SP., M.Agb., and Ir. I Made Agus Dharmadiatmika, S.P., M.T.


At the opening ceremony of the Pilmapres, the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information of FP Unud, Dr. I Made Sukewijaya emphasized that this event was not merely about looking at achievements or champions in the academic field, because after this event, of course, the participants must be able to become role models for all students who are currently studying at FP Unud. "To all participants, you must be an example for other fellow students, not only in academic ability alone, be a role model both academically and non-academically," he said.


The Chairperson of the Pilmapres 2025 FP Unud Organizing Committee, Ni Made Priska Purnamasuari expressed her highest appreciation to all participants who have shown extraordinary dedication and enthusiasm in participating in the entire selection process. "Pilmapres is not only a competition, but also a forum to showcase the best potential of students in academics, leadership, and social contribution," she added. On the occasion of the closing of the event, Priska also expressed her deepest gratitude to the entire committee, supervising lecturers, judges, and all parties who have supported the implementation of this activity. "Without the support and cooperation of various parties, of course the implementation of Pilmapres would not be as meaningful as this, I hope this activity can continue to be a motivation for students to continue to work and inspire in their surroundings," she concluded.
