Agricamp 2024, Ciptaning Darmabakti Aksata

Thursday, (25/01/2024). The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University (BEM FP Unud), has completed the alma mater socialization activities at the faculty level. Agriculture Camp (Agricamp) was held for three days and two nights, also decorated with service activities in three fields, namely education, agriculture and the environment, which took place in Marga Dauh Puri Village, Tabanan Regency, Bali.

The theme of Agricamp 2024 "Ciptaning Darmabakti Aksata" has meaning and hope, the spirit of service can continue not only during activities but beyond. Because devotion within three days is not enough. Apart from providing community service, art performances (pensi) were also held which were attended by each group of participants. Innovations were also made by the Agricamp 2024 committee, where agricultural service was carried out in accordance with the obstacles experienced by local residents such as pests and diseases and soil fertility.

Even though we had prepared carefully, the implementation of Agricamp was not free from several obstacles. Lack of knowledge when serving agriculture and minimal availability of water at campsites are two of them. The lack of access to water in the village is the reason. Regardless of the obstacles experienced, this activity, which is always held every year, has its own impression on the participants. Increasing solidarity and closeness between participants, as well as having the opportunity to provide direct service to the community is a valuable experience for new students.

"I hope that next year's agricamp can add to the good image of the Faculty of Agriculture," hoped the chairman of the 2024 Agricamp committee, I Made Widya Pustaka Jaya.
