Signing of Cooperation Agreement between Bank Indonesia and the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University

On Tuesday, June 2, 2026, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, and the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia for Bali Province at the Sudirman Campus, Denpasar.


The cooperation, which will be implemented over the next year, focuses on technical assistance and capacity building for farmer groups and assisted subak communities in Bali Province. Representatives from Bank Indonesia, namely Mr. Fauzan, Mr. Erwin Sihombing, and Mr. I Made Andika, expressed their appreciation for the acceptance of this collaborative program. The program is also part of Bank Indonesia’s efforts to help control inflation.


The assistance will be provided to assisted villages and subak communities in Kintamani, Subak Blumbang Seririt, and Subak Sembung, particularly in the area of Precision Farming.


The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, I Putu Sudiarta, S.P., M.Si., Ph.D., warmly welcomed the cooperation and expressed his hope that the collaboration would continue through other programs in the future. The Dean also suggested that regular meetings be scheduled to discuss current issues in agriculture, as well as challenges related to the integration of agriculture and tourism in Bali.


This cooperation is expected to serve as a positive momentum for future collaborative programs. Also present at the signing were Dr. Ir. Gede Wijana, M.S., as the Person in Charge of the cooperation, and Dr. A.A.A. Wulandira Sawitri Djelantik, representing the Faculty of Agriculture’s cooperation division.


The ceremonial signing of the Cooperation Agreement will be held in conjunction with the Opening Ceremony of Bali Jagadhita VII 2026, initiated by Bank Indonesia, at the Main Atrium of Mal Bali Galeria on Friday, June 5, 2026.
