The Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University has prepared the Strategic Plan 2025–2029 as the main guideline for the implementation and development of the Three Pillars of Higher Education over the next five years. This document serves as the faculty’s policy direction in improving the quality of education, research, community service, governance, cooperation, and global competitiveness.
The Strategic Plan of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University 2025–2029 was prepared to realize the faculty’s vision of becoming an excellent, independent, cultured, and globally competitive faculty as a center for the development of sustainable agricultural science and technology. This vision is implemented through strengthening education based on sustainable agriculture, developing modern research that promotes local wisdom, improving services to the community, and expanding cooperation with government, business sectors, research institutions, and global partners.
In this Strategic Plan, the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University establishes several strategic directions, including improving graduate quality, strengthening curricula relevant to the needs of business and industry, increasing research and innovation productivity, developing community service, and strengthening effective, transparent, accountable, and digitally based faculty governance.
Enhancing the quality of graduates so they have strong competencies, remain relevant to workforce needs, and are able to compete at national and global levels.
Developing an adaptive curriculum that is relevant to business and industry needs and aligned with advances in agricultural science and technology.
Encouraging increased productivity in research, scientific publications, innovative products, and intellectual property rights.
Developing community service activities that provide solutions for sustainable agricultural development.
Strengthening faculty governance that is effective, efficient, transparent, accountable, and supported by digital technology.
Expanding cooperation networks with government, business sectors, research institutions, universities, and global partners.
The Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University has strong potential to support the achievement of these strategic targets. The faculty is supported by qualified human resources, study programs with strong accreditation achievements, national and international cooperation networks, and learning and research facilities such as laboratories, classrooms, and experimental gardens.
Through the Strategic Plan 2025–2029, the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University is committed to continuously improving graduate quality, expanding access to education, strengthening research and innovation, increasing contributions to community service, and building strategic cooperation that contributes to sustainable agricultural development at local, national, and global levels.
The implementation of this Strategic Plan will be monitored through a periodic monitoring and evaluation system to ensure that each work program runs effectively, measurably, and in accordance with the established performance targets. Therefore, the Strategic Plan 2025–2029 is expected to serve as an important foundation for strengthening the role of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University as an excellent, adaptive, innovative, and globally competitive agricultural higher education institution.
