Indomaret Collaborates with Udayana University's Faculty of Agriculture in Realizing Community Empowerment, Especially Farmers

Denpasar - The Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, not only collaborates with national and international universities but also collaborates with companies related to the agricultural sector, Tuesday (03/18/2025). As when the Indomaret Central Management visited, the Faculty welcomed the arrival of representatives from Indomaret Central with open arms who wanted to explore cooperation in terms of community empowerment. The meeting was held in the Meeting Room of the Agrokomplek Building, 2nd Floor, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar.

The representative from Indomaret Central stated that Indomaret is committed to developing regional economies throughout Indonesia through empowering local agricultural products by collaborating with major universities in Indonesia such as the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB), Gadjah Mada University and Padjajaran University. And now Indomaret wants to invite the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University to participate in this mission. Indomaret hopes that Udayana University will be able to assist farmers to be able to have quality cultivation results and strong institutions.

I Putu Sudiarta, S.P., M.Si., P.hD. as the Dean accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning Dr. Putu Udayani Wijayanti, S.P., M.Agb. were very enthusiastic and welcomed the offer. Sudiarta said that what Indomaret wanted to do was in line with what was also desired by academics at FP Unud. Sudiarta really hopes that this Collaboration plan can be realized. This meeting was also attended by the Head of the Information Management and Collaboration Unit (UPIKS), the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit (UP3M), and the Agribusiness Undergraduate Study Program Coordinator.
